Looking to switch for family reasons, as I moved out here by myself and it is already starting to take a bigger toll than expected. Great program with lots of benefits and interesting patients/pathology. My residents along all three years have been incredibly supportive, my class in particular. No fellows, so you're diving into the procedures.
And then obviously Oahu is beautiful with lots of stuff to do. And great food.
The closer to St. Louis/Detroit/Chicago the better, but I will definitely consider other places. And other specialties. Swap would be easier but admin have told me they have enough residents to cover my absence if that's what it comes to, so info on open positions are appreciated as well.
