PGY2 after Prelim?? Reapplying to Match after Prelim??

Hi all,
Does anyone know how to find PGY2 spots if available for after Preliminary year? How successful is obtaining a PGY2 spot? Also, how successful have others been in reapplying through the match again during prelim to try to obtain a PGY1 spot? I have a preliminary spot and would like to transfer to a program closer to home.
