HI,
Im a pgy4 anesthesia resident and Im looking for a new program to call home. I will come with great references and a little baggage. But my references will far outweigh my baggage. If you have a position or know of one- PLEASE email me! I love my job, Im good at my job, and I want to get working!
-Thanks in advance!

What is this "baggage". Sounds like you got into some trouble and now are leaving your program. How about those residents who had to take your call, do extra work, because of your "baggage". How can you be a great resident but be leaving a program? Good luck to you.
I have been on the other end and have had to pick up the baggage. At some point these issues will come up. I hope you find work.

The baggage I was talking about pertains to my heatlh which has now been resolved. Unfortunatly my program could not hold the spot for me as I was out for too long (4 months) reapplication will put me into next July and their current pgy3 is filled so they wont have a spot for me next year.

Check with the ABA I knew someone whom was out 4 months continuously and had to restart as a CA-1. Hope your health improves.
