Hey Everybody,

I just received my first invitation to interview for a doctoral program in clinical psychology. I know a lot of others will be receiving similar interviews and will probably have the same qualms as me about this impending experience.

To any of you who have undergone the interview process already or who might know a great deal about it, do you have any tips for preparing for and surviving such an immensely important interview? Also, what are the kinds of questions that will be asked?

Thank you and good luck to the rest of you!

IC,

Thank you 🙂 I have read through that thread. It is exceptionally disorganized, and I felt like I could read for days without actually gaining any useful information. I was hoping to start something where people could succinctly list maybe a question or two they had been asked in actual interviews, or brief tips based on experience.

IC,

Thank you 🙂 I have read through that thread.....

A good way to start a list may be to sift through the old threads and pull out what questions/tips were provided. I think people may be more willing to share if you start the list going. I'd offer my 2 cents about the process, but I'm a decade removed, so I'm not sure how much has changed in that time.
