Hi guys,

Do you have any suggestions on what to put on Pharm flash cards, ie: side effects, tradenames, what it does, etcs?

Thanks

you could just buy them, it'd be alot easier. pharmcards is very good. i used it way more than my crappy lippincott book. damn that book blows.

I also used my lippincott pharmcards heavily. I did read substantial chunks of the lippincott pharm text, but I depended more heavily on the cards and transcripts.

I didnt use any pre-made cards (way too much info). Focus on what is in FA and make cards from there. You wont get every question right but you wont fill up valuable brain space w/ excess useless info.

I have to respectfully disagree w/ Trouta 😉 . I LOVE Lippincotts PharmCards. They do have more info on them then what's in FA but it's only info that will help you better understand the MOA & side effects. From what I'm hearing you need to 'understand' the MOA more so then just memorize them for the actual test... so I think PharmCards w/ the (not too overwhelming) extra info are very helpful! Let you know for sure soon enough 😱

Just highlight what's in FA so you know what's extra & what the "must-know" info is!

Thanks a million, I really helps me focus on what I need to for the boards. Good luck to all who will suffer while taking the USMLE this year.
