what are the best flashcards out there for pharm and micro? i've heard brenner for pharm, but do these actually help for boards?

I made my own pharm and micro cards and I couldnt have been happier. I used FA for pharm and MMRS for micro.

I tried out the lange cards for both micro and pharm but they werent to my style. A lot of people at my school did like the lange pharm cards.

I don't think there is a better or worse. Go to your bookstore and see which one best fits your style.

If you have just startied reading pharmacology try pharmnemonics .this guy has the crazy weirdest way to remember drugs!
I loved it especially for Antibiotics and Antineoplasm!
But if you have already started reading and had your concepts consolidated ,I must warn you using this would be counterproductive as this cards goes completely in a new track and if you try this after your first reading of textbooks it would get mixed up!

If you already did some reading try the kaplan pharm flash cards by conrad fischer! Love him or hate him for his histrionics ,you must admit His materials are THE BEST!

For micro ,Micro cards by Harpavat.
Levinson and Micro cards would be a great combination!
Levinson is a great book in sense that it gives the big picture without which you can never conquer this vast subject!
Those are my humble views!

I got MicroCards by the Indian guy and the Lange Pharm cards. Haven't started using them yet, but from the quick flip through they look pretty legit.

I've got MicroCards and PharmCards. I used the MicroCards for class and I loved them, and I plan on using them again when I start studying for boards in a few weeks. Some people I know didn't like them because they thought there was too much detail on them, but my roommate and I both really liked them.

I then got PharmCards for class since I had liked the MicroCards, but I couldn't stand the PharmCards. In my opinion they had way too much detail, and I seemed to spend more time adding facts that weren't on there and highlighting the stuff that was important than actually reviewing them. I didn't touch them after the first few weeks of pharm, and for boards studying I'm leaning toward buying the BRS cards.
