I scored
VA-403/53%
Bio-430/88%
RC-408/58%
QA-429/84%
Chem-455/96%
Composite-425/86%

on my preliminary scores. How close is the preliminary to the real thing usually?

I was wondering whether these scores are good enough for UNC Chapel Hill as an NY student student. Also about UCSF, Ohio State, U Illinois - Chicago. Or whether I should retake it.
My GPA for the first year of college was a 4.0.

I am only a second year student. If I retake the test I am positive my chemistry should max out at 99%. I am less than 1/3 into our orgo. class this semester.

Also I will start preparing for VA & RC. I expect I am capable of getting 80%tile if I focus hard on those.

Wrong section for the post I guess but seems like you're pcat is good for the schools that require the pcat. To apply at Ohio state you need a Bachelors degree and UCSF doesn't require the pcat for admission.

You're interested in pharmacy but you haven't even gone to each school's website to check out what they require? Schools offer more than just their rank .....

Well you need to do a lot of research regarding which schools you wanna apply to.. most CALI schools don't need the PCAT.

In fact, NONE of the California schools require it.

There is no point to send pcat scores to a school that will not look at it.

GPA seems so unreliable as it varies even from professor to professor within a university...

I am more interested at UNC Chapel Hill anyways.

I want to know my chances at that school. On their website average comp. scores are 80%-85%, but then again they only admitted 20% OOS last year.

My chemistry prof. is a SUNY Distinguished teaching professor who was an associate professor at Chapel Hill. Hopefully I am able to get a LOR from him.

They look at applications in a holistic fashion.
