So this past fall i recieved a D in organic chemistry 1, and im applying for pharm school and i just finished two interviews. and one school asked for my fall grades and upcoming spring/summer 2013 schedule. Will they look into it, and possibly reject me for it?
I plan on taking organic chem 1 and 2 fast track at a community college during the spring semester.

Since organic chemistry (a full year of it) is pretty much a standard prerequisite for pharmacy school, I would say that they could possibly reject you for those grades. Pharmacy requires a strong background in chemistry and biology so when you send in updated transcripts even though you already interviewed, they could possibly revoke your acceptance.

However, every school will have a different protocol and approach to dealing with grades and prerequisites so I would suggest you to contact the admissions of the schools you interviewed at and talk to them about your situation.

I have attended several pharmacy school presentations at my undergraduate school and most have said that they prefer prerequisites to be completed at an university. I'm assuming you already took those classes at your college so they may not accept you retaking the class at a community college.

Again, call the school and ask. Good luck!

If you don't retake the Organic Chem, they can. Most schools have a required grade (generally a C or higher) for their required courses. If you show them that you are still enrolled to retake it, then they'll see that you can possibly get the required grade and they may end up offering you a conditional acceptance, provided you pass the class with their desired grade. If they're looking at the overall GPA for their required classes, then that D may bring it down, but if your other classes are fine your GPA may still be sufficient.
