Hi,

I'm really confused and unsure of how to feel right now. I feel like this is also going to be a really, really stupid question too.

I applied to five pharmacy schools in late February, but I've only heard back from two so far. I know I don't have a great GPA or an outstanding PCAT score, so I wouldn't be surprised about not getting into the schools, but should I assume I've been 'rejected' because I haven't gotten an email back yet? When I initially finished PharmCAS and had everything sent in, I got emails back saying the schools received my applications and would get back to me on the status of my app. Does it take over a month to process an application, or am I just acting crazy?

I'm almost done with my P1 year and am still waiting back to hear from one of the schools that I applied to. Another school took until March or April to offer an interview but at this point I'd say you are probably rejected.

If you don't get in and apply next you I would suggest applying much earlier... many school have application deadlines in November/December and even with schools that do rolling admissions applying earlier should help.

Doubt it's due to low GPA or PCAT... maybe it's your credit score? The schools might be doubting whether you can secure the necessary loans/funding?

@idiot Thanks for the information! I'll keep that in mind. Hopefully I'll be accepted into this school, though, so I'm trying not to stress too hard.

@Z-Qualizer Hahaha... I think my credit score might be fine. If that were the case I'd probably have gotten accepted into every single pharmacy school by now.
