Hello!
I took the PTCE a few weeks ago and passed it so I have to send my application for a license (I'm from California). My question is do we have to get the copy of the certificate that was sent in the mail notarized, or will the online certificate work? I asked the PTCB and they said online is fine but I don't know if California has different rules. I already got the online one notarized but I fear that I may have wasted money if we need the mailed certificate notarized.
Likewise, for the national practitioner self-query thing, do we need to get the mailed copy notarized? I didn't realize that I would have to wait for a mailed copy so I did the self-query step really late, which was at the beginning of the week AFTER I got my certificate. That means now I have to wait a few days until the mailed copy comes, but I'm getting impatient and wondering if we could just print out the form online and get that notarized.
I'm a little impatient because I heard the CA Board of Pharmacy takes about three months to process the application. :/
Please let me know! Thanks.
