Hey. I work at CVS as a pharmacy tech and get paid 8.30/hr. According to the national average (~9.00), this seems a bit low. I'm in the Cincinnati, Ohio area if that matters. I was wondering if some (part-time) CVS techs and interns could post their salaries and approximately how many hours they work/week. Thanks!

my friend is a clerk (no tech license, anything) -- $8.05/hr @ CVS
Location: Orange County, CA

3rd year intern at CVS -- ~$17/hr, same location.

Techs start at around $11 with licensure.

I was offered $8.80 as a clerk at Walgreens, but I rejected them for Longs Drugs (more convenient for me). I'm at Berkeley in California btw. Not sure how much Longs will pay, but we'll be talking out the details this Thursday.

I just started working at CVS in florida. I'm not tech certified, but i have a college degree and I only make $7.50! I think I'm getting ripped off lol

I work for Rite Aid in Northern California and my starting is 13.60 but I think that's low for the Bay Area. Anyone else work for Rite Aid?

I work in the Pharmacy at CVS in East Texas. Not a certified tech yet - just a "tech in training" and I get paid $9.00/hr. Worked there less than a year, and I work about 20 hours per week. Once I have my certification my pay is supposed to go up, probably by $1/hr but not sure.

Some of you working at CVS, your pay sounds horrible. $9/hr in our area is probably a little above average pay for the type of work. But apparently good help is hard to find here.

Target in Florida starts techs at $10/ hr.

Certified gets $1 extra.

Target also pays for the certification exam.

I'm taking it 9/22!!!! Can't wait to get my extra $1. I wonder if I'll even notice???

tech for 4 years at CVS in PA...certified...and only making 8.32...i guess it all depends on your location...

I'm a brand new certified tech; cvs offered 11/hr. But another place I'm applying to is offering 12/hr.
