Pharm work ?

I am considering applying for a summer job as a pharmacy tech. > in my state nothing is required to become a tech. I know I can most likely get the position, but will working in a pharmacy be of any help on an app.? Will it hurt my chances? Have any of you guys done this and did it help, or have no signifigance what so ever...

I did some pharmacy work in FL at C*S and the pharmacist swore up and down that it would be beneficial and in reality I dont see how it couldnt be...you would be getting extensive experience in how insurance works and how patients can be in addition to the pharmaceutical knowledge you'd recieve...but supposedly each med school is different.
