Pharmaceutics Dispensing Exam tips??

So I have my P1 pharmaceutics dispensing exam tomorrow- solutions, suspensions, dilutions. What sort of tips do you have for me??

Also, here's another question- is there a rule of thumb as to which suspending agent is appropriate to use and do you need to disperse co-trag powder with ethanol? I know you need to disperse acacia with ethanol and co-trag contains acacia, but do the other components of co-trag remove that requirement?

One more question--what expiry dates would you put on a preparation of 100ml of .9% benzalkonium chloride and what expiry date would you put on a preparation of the same at a 1:6,000 dilution? Would it be one month for the former and 2 weeks for the latter, since the former would be a standard preparation and the latter an extemporaneous preparation?
