Pharmacist application process for the VA??

I was interested in looking at the VA, and saw that the application process is very, very complex. For any current employees, how drawn out and extensive was this process? What about this essay that you need to define your responses to these 8 desired qualifications??

Looooong drawn out process, complicated, time consuming and in the end its not what you know but who you know.
