what to expect from first week of training.

How many scripts do this store do each day on avg?

Bring something to write notes on and just listen/learn. Expect a rude customer here and there, nothing to it other than that.

Definitely bring a notebook. Write down "cheat codes"...things like local insurance condor codes/bins, overrides, hot key shortcuts (narc inventory, RTS, etc.), and the fastest keystrokes to information...ex) "S" for status, "A" for automated calls, V(line #) to show details of a script, etc. If you have an automation unit, definitely go over that (how to replace supplies, refill, command). And of course, the layout (fast movers, slow movers, dose form type, automated drugs).

Various view screens in QV are quite useful, H for history, FN for fill notes, and DC for dur comments...routinely check these before verifying
