Hello everyone,

I'm currently working as a pharmacist for a corporate company in Ontario. I have been working in the
industry for about 3 years now and turning 29 years old. I was hoping to get some life advice and guidance from my other fellow pharmacists. I am looking to furthering my education and have been confused in terms of what I would like to do. Due to the ever-changing scope and environment of our profession (automation, pharmacist prescribing, central fill, amazon (e-commerce) etc.), I was hoping to continue to advance myself from an education perspective. Any advice for a 29 year old pharmacist, that is looking for further education, and hoping to gain further skills to keep myself relevant for future job prospects. I have contemplated multiple things, such as getting a masters of business administration, masters in ehealth, and even medical school. I was also considering going to Asia and working but not sure how relevant my degrees would be (biology degree and pharmacy degree). If anyone has any advice or just want to comment, feel free.

Thanks for the time.

I would go to medical school or PA school.

Alternatively I would try to join Amazon.com as they are a few years away from seriously entering the pharmacy profession. The HQ2 may be made in Toronto which would be great for you.

Or if you want to get out of medicine go to App Academy . It's free tuition that you only pay if you get a a job paying more than 70k USD and average starting salary is more than 100,000 USD.

I don't think going to PA (physician assistant) school would be of interest for me. If I were to do that I must as well try to go to medical school.
In addition, the second hq I believe is now located in LA, not in Toronto. and very interesting about the app academy website. Thanks!

Anyone else other insight ? Thanks!
