What are you trying to get out of the experience? Are you trying to gain information and insight into the field, or are you trying to boost up your pharm school application? If the former, ask whatever is on your mind. If the latter, try to ask something that you might be able to use at an interview or in a personal statement.
At my school we have IPPE visits at a minimum of 4 different locations per year. I always ask the same few questions to every pharmacist I work with: a) What path led you here to Pharmacy X? b) Do you like it and would you do it again if given the chance? c) What are the pros and cons of Pharmacy X vs other pharmacies? d) Do you have any advice for someone at my stage? I usually get back some pretty useful information, especially to the pros/cons question.
