What questions do they ask at a pharmacy clerk interview???

What is the proper interview attire for such an interview??
-for hospital pharmacies?
-for retail chains (Walgreens, Sav-ons, CVS, etc)
-for independently owned??

probably about the same? wasnt aware the hospitals even had " clerks"

I have a pharmacy technician interview on Thursday and I am planning to wear my suit that I will wear for Pharm School interviews. I assume it should be the same for clerk. It is better to be overdressed than underdressed I would think. Suit jacket isn't necessary though I don't think.

A suit might be too much. I would suggest long sleeve shirt and tie to retail pharmacy interview. The majority of the questions are going to be behavioral/situational questions, such as tell me an instance where you dealt with a difficult situation and how did you handle it. Be prepared to answer questions on customer service (can you handle angry customers), teamwork, and working in fast paced environment.

I don't believe it is necessary to dress professionally for a job that pays about $8 per hour. Wearing dress pants, shirt, tie, dress shoes, and not to mention, a suit, is overkill. Then again, this really depends on the store/pharmacy manager and his or her preferences. Personally, I wore jeans, a turtleneck shirt (cold winter up here), sneakers, had my coat on the entire time and still got hired. My manager could care less what you wear, as long as you are dress decently and appear to be properly groomed. So, like I said, professional dress is probably a little too much considering this isn't a professional position that pays $30/hour. Keep that in mind.

Like others have said, suit is overkill.
but def wear long sleeve shirt & tie, slacks and nice shoes. thats the dresscode now for CVS... its going business attire.

Where the hell is the CVS that you work at? The most I've worn, I've worn khakis, shirt, and the lab coat. I have never worn dress shoes over there.

At the least, jeans, t-shirt, lab coat. Honestly, all they really care about is the lab coat. I've seen pharmacists wearing tank tops, and pajamas, and as long as they have the lab coat, they have gotten away with it(female pharmacists), but for the male pharmacists it is a bit tougher.
