Are interviews usually schedules during the week or weekend? I was wondering because of possible complications with having an interview and some undergraduate exams on the same day. that would suck

Almost always during the week. Most profs are willing to work around interviews since they are a school related event. In the case that you really can't go on the day they assign you, generally you can ask to be rescheduled.

Schools completely work around the schedules of athletes. I would certainly hope that academically related interviews would be given the same treatment.

Dont get my started on the special treatment that college atheles gets. Like the majority of guys in the world..I love sports. Football, basketball, baseball, hockey, you name it. But I refuse to have a particular favoirte college team, because I disagree with all the things they get away with and the golden toilet seat they have.

How much warning do schools give you for an interview? Like a month?

It depends on the school. Believe it or not, I was called and asked if I could come the next day (I live quite close to school but still...). I could not, and asked for another day to come. As long as they decide to interview you, you can always reschedule. It is not written in stone. I would not want to miss a test because of the interview, and not all professors allow this.

Most of my interviews were on Saturday mornings. I've had a few during the week, but it was rare.

Interviews are important, so try not to have them reschedule you. They usually give you more than one date to pick from.

Look over your entire schedule before you pick the day. I've had problems with physics professor who wouldn't excuse me from lab (and at the time the policy was that having one unexcused absence from lab meant failing the course).
