Just wondering how long after your interview with the state board do you actually receive your license. I applied for a Alabama license and am sitting for an interview soon, I'm curious how long it will be before I can work as a licensed pharmacist.

Just wondering how long after your interview with the state board do you actually receive your license. I applied for a Alabama license and am sitting for an interview soon, I'm curious how long it will be before I can work as a licensed pharmacist.

I currently work in Alabama. After my interview, it was about a week before the website updated with a license number. This was right around the end of residency season, so there were alot of people at my "interview." I think they only have one lady who does most of the application processing, but I can't imagine that it'll take longer than a week to become official after your interview.
