  1. Pre-Pharmacy
Hello all, I'm a little conflicted and looking for some help. At the current university that I am at, I am not doing so well in my classes and haven't been since I started there. I have my general A.A. already but because of how I am doing in my classes and at university, I'm thinking about going back to community college. I was just wondering how that looks on my portfolio and my applications for Pharmacy school. I think after a few semesters I will return to the University I am at but I am just greatly struggling currently and feel that this may be my best option. Thank you for any input!

If you are too stupid for university how are you going to pass your classes in pharmacy school?

That's rude^
But true..
Going back to a community college because the classes are too vigorous at a university isnt going to look good. Pharmacy schools will assume you might not be able to handle their course loads.
Struggling with advanced courses will make u a stronger candidate than doing well on easier courses.

Study more or take only 4 courses/term. The above posters are right, if you have trouble in undergrad you'll also have trouble in pharm school.

Honestly, you just have to work for it ! If it wasnt possible, nobody would be able to have pass the classes. It just takes dedication.
I need to take this advice for myself, but seriously. Just hard work and dedication. Go back to tutoring, office hours, everything. Dont go home from school until you understand the lesson. Its gonna be worth it. Dont listen to jerks that will put you down. I believe in you 🙂 The when its time to apply, explain everything I just said hehe. Thats what Im going to do too.

You'd be better off transferring to an easier university than CC. My friend transferred from a top state school to a school that accepts like 80% of their applicants, because she wasn't doing hot and wanted a higher GPA to apply to med school. Not suggesting this route, but either expect adcoms to be suspicious or go to a new pharm school with high tuition and questionable morals ($$$ > you and your PharmD)
