It seems a lot of pharmacy care professors are full time and only have a one year residency.
How much do these people get paid and how much vacation?

1. How much do these people get paid ?

Less than me

2. how much vacation?

More than me

I just took a clinical faculty position for 90,000 - get 6 weeks vacation, 9 paid holidays, 6 sick days, 3,000 bucks for conventions, no weekends, can work from home, no nights, 500 bucks for books/software per year.... can supplement however much I want at a retail setting...

Did you have any other training before you got the job such as residency or fellowship. Do you teach full time or do you have to do research and bring in grants?

1 year residency... research is not required at this institution, but they of course won't mind if you bring in big grants! 60% of your time is spent at the clinical site, the rest working on committee work, lectures, student activities, etc..

Wow! And here I am thinking that these professors only get paid 75k or so. I would not refuse that offer if I got it. Maybe I'll take it if I see such an offer after a residency.
I just hope that students wouldn't fall asleep if I lectured.
