Does anyone here know what is the Pharmacy Program minimum GPA for the pharmacy schools we're applying? I know that some schools have a GPA of 3.0 and if you are below that , then they place you in academic probation. Others have a minimum of 2.0. Can you guys share your thoughts on this.

I believe almost all of us in this forum will get into pharm school. We might as well help each other better prepare when we get to the program. That's just me.

This link might also help you guys see what are the experiences of pharm students who are in P1, P2 etc. http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=317289

Any idea on UC's, UOP, Boston, USN, etc?

I think OP means during pharmacy school, what the minimum required GPA to maintain is? Since he said academic probation, which only applies to current students.

ah, I misread the question. Well I'm sure each school has something on their site that can answer this. At my school specifically, as long as you pass every class (70 or >) then you're fine. But it's not like if you have a 2.0 you can move on. You have to pass every class. So if I got a 60 in biochem and an 80 in drug delivery systems, thats not going to cut it.

ah, so it's pretty much different from every school then. I just read from UCSF that you have to have a GPA of 2.0 to be in good standing. Thanks guys
