  1. Pre-Pharmacy
Hello everyone! I am currently a junior at UCLA who transferred from a CC with GPA 3.68. I am done with all my prereqs and have over 800 hours of oncology pharmacy lab work experience. I am applying to MCPHS Boston and university of Pacific. I would just like to get some feedback from you guys regarding my chances of being accepted into these schools without a Bachelors and with no retail pharmacy experience. I would also really appreciate suggestions of schools that I could apply to that I may have a chance of getting in with my current stats. I would grearly apreciate any help.

Thank you

Chances of getting in are excellent with your GPA, but the real hard part is getting a job after you graduate. With that kind of GPA, you could go for med or PA school. There are also other fields, i.e. computer science / programming, finance, accounting, engineering, etc. that are highly ranked at UCLA, pay well, and allow you to enjoy job prospects and quality of life better that are better than pharmacy without you having to take out an additional $200k+ in loans and spend another 4 years in school.

Job market always goes in cycle. There is low tide and high tide. Computer science will be saturated eventually with the rate of software engineer growing exponentially and everyone jump into CS like in the past they all jump into pharmacy.

If you excel, you will always accomplish no matter what job you have.
