Do you guys think it is a good idea for me to buy and study naplex before pharmacy school?

Sure. Also make sure to find the books for multiple pharmacy programs and then memorize them all to detail before school starts.

Why waste your time? You won't be taking the NAPLEX for another 4 and 1/2 to 5 years, and you will be learning all the material in pharmacy school. Additionally, the first year of pharmacy school is mostly review. Enjoy the summer off, because you won't get one for awhile.

Hmm i feel a bit rusty, but i agree with what you say. My friends are just like robots, studying non-stop.

i think you should pick up all the biology textbooks u can and memorize all the details

the determination is there, but the best medicine you can give yourself is to stay away from ANY level of studying your last summer...enjoy the small break like others said you wont have one like this for awhile...there is nothing you can possibly do to benefit that kind of study...I mean, 100k+ of loans is what your paying to PASS that test with professionals that have experience right? cut yourself slack and dont worry what you may / may not feel rusty on because it will flood back in your first couple of semesters in school.

Don't worry about NAPLEX until P4 year. I would just take it easy and do stuff you like now since you'll have a lot less time once matriculated. Only thing I would do is maybe, meaning don't really have to, glance over those top 300 drugs if you don't have any retail experience. If your the type to worry/want to stay studious somewhat. You'll get tested on them during your community labs.

I guess best advice is listen to your school's suggestions and contact former/current students to see what their recommendations are.
Take it easy and enjoy.
