Pharmacy school recommendations

Hello! I'm currently researching pharmacy schools. I would like to know if anyone recommends their school or any school in general. I live in St. Louis, MO and I feel like St. Louis college of pharmacy is not an option. I can relocate. The main college I'm looking into is Belmont in Memphis, TN. Thanks! 🙂

Curious to know why STL COP is not an option for you.

I currently work in a pharmacy. 3 of the pharmacist that work there went to STCOP and they don't recommend it and the reviews are bad. The city isn't all that great either.

Pick an area you want to live and look at the pharmacy school rankings. Rankings certainly don't mean everything but they are there for a reason and if you truly can't decide, it is not a bad resource.

I would recommend coming on over to California for some of the top pharmacy schools in the nation! And great weather--for some of them! 😛

And yes, the newly released 2012 US News pharmacy rankings are good for background assessment. Is there anything in particular you're looking for?

1) Find pharmacy colleges in your state
2) Among accredited institutions, find the cheapest one
3) go apply


But I'd say Hawaii/Florida/Maryland University because beach is nearby.

Dead-on. I also applied to a couple out-of-state schools that I found most interesting regardless of what the official rankings were. I really liked the schools I went for the interview but realized that it would have been better if I applied to more public schools.. (cheaper and usually associated with big hospitals)
