Are there any resources to help one apply to pharmacy schools like some book with stats and rankings? Also when does the application cycle begin?

Don't go by them! Its all about finding a school that fits with you, not the top school in the country. AACP has some info on schools, and so does PharmCAS. I think the pharmcas cycle begins sometime in Jun each year.
