I know one can just do the research on where to take the pcat, but depending on whether the school requires it or not, I am not sure where I am supposed to take it. Is there usually a testing center where you have to go to in order to take it and then get your results? I am sure that there is also a registration fee. So suppose you do not pass, but if you are going to pass, then I am sure you should start as soon as possible, but then there are certain math that is required. Do you really need to know your basic algebra and geometry in order to perform well? I kind of forgot some of that stuff over time. I had not intended to do pharmacy in the beginning and did not know until my junior year of college to do so so my first year, I was sort of dabbling here and there and was not sure. Now I know what I want to and I realize that I should not have taken the math classes for granted in the past.
In terms of my writing, I have not written an essay in a while since some of my GEs did not require it. They only had one or two papers a quarter. That was not enough for me. I also forgot what a thesis statement was, most of the literary terms, reading comprehension and much more. I believe I am far behind already. My writing skills are just faltering since I do not have a lot of papers for my classes. My math skills are as well since I used to cheat in them just to get ahead. I used to cheat in geometry and algebra 1 just to get good grades, but I lied to myself, so, am I screwed, or do I still have a chance to take a crack at applying to pharmacy?
If I am not doing so well in chemistry since some of the word problems are difficult and have been to my professors and asked for help what are some advice you can give me to improve it? there are many other online sources I can utilize, but now I do not have the time. I have a lot of work to do so if I am pressed for time and I want to find a tool that could help me or perhaps there is a method of solving problems more efficiently and carefully, I would be glad to get your feedback.
