Should I take the pharmacy technician exam? I’ll go to pharmacy school in 2021 and my trainee license expires in November 2020? Any advise or suggestions?

Your PTCB licensure is good for 2 years before renewal. For slightly higher pay as a tech before school I'd say its worth it. Do not take a tech class..... just get the PTCE booklet at your local library, study and memorize, then take the test. Simple as that.

I suggest taking the exam and not going to pharmacy school. You will have many more career options as a tech and none of the debt.
