Hello all,

I'm currently a P2 student in a 3 year pharmacy program. I originally planned on pursuing a career in medicine; however, severely underperformed during my undergrad years. I finished with a 3.4 but a severe downward trend ultimately lowing my science GPA to around a 2.9-3 if I recall correctly. This underperformance was due to several factors that I definitely did not handle well at the time but have since learned from my mistakes. I decided to pursue pharmacy following this as it was still in the healthcare realm but after completing hospital rotations it reignited that original dream I once had. My academic performance has done a 180 since getting a second chance with pharmacy school currently being at a 4.0 while also being involved in many extracurriculars. I do plan on finishing pharmacy school with the goal of attending med school starting the following fall. I'm seeking advice on the feasibility of this route before I commit to beginning the process of bolstering an application.

Thank you!

There is a person in my MD class who has their PharmD. Definitely feasible, just kill your MCAT. Med schools seem to like to diversify their classes with talented people like yourself that may have taken an alternate route
