Hi, I am living in NYC and currently trying to apply to either LIU, Rutgers and Buffalo as a transfer.

I don't really know how hard exactly it is to get into these schools but perhaps somebody here can give me a general idea?

I have a bachelors in chemistry at a SUNY.
Major GPA: 3.2
Cum. GPA: 2.97
PCAT Score: 91 composite score with a 3 in writing (avg was 2.8).
I have fulfilled all my requirements and courses as well.

I worked throughout most of college, but on the side I had done independent research and I volunteered at the hospital pharmacy for about 1 year . I also have a written recommendation from the Hospital's Pharmacy.

I currently work at a doctor's office for about a year now in New York City. Received a promotion for my good work and expecting a really good recommendation from the Doc as well.

Working at the doctor's office is great and all but the career path I wish to follow is Pharmacy.

Reading these forums kind of scared me because so many people applying to LIU were getting waitlisted with 3.8 GPA's! (with low PCAT scores).

Can anyone give me an idea my chances or where I stand with these 3 schools? or recommendations for other pharmacy schools by the new york/new jersey region?

Long Island University is my top choice but I am not feeling too good on getting accepted.

Or perhaps I should consider retaking my PCATS to make up for my GPA?

Thanks. criticism accepted.
