I was wondering if it was possible to put down one of my family members address on my PharmCas application as my permanent address? Ive been living with this family member for over a year now and attending the university in that state. I was just wondering if that was possible, to get an in state advantage, becasue currently they still consider me out of state.

I would think that a permanent address is an address where you can receive mail indefinitely.

However, I am not a residence of this state, and I was wondering if that was illegal or something to put down someone in your family's address instead of your true permanent address.

allow your family to put a couple bills in your name, get a new drivers license and you should be fine.

to OP, this may be difficult. Most schools require the applicant to part of their state for a minimum time period etc. 6 months to a year. If you could just place an in state address, then all applicants could just rent an apartment or find a friend in state and claimed they live there.

Why don't you check the in-state requirements of your school? Some schools have stricter policies when changing residencies. In some cases, an address, with maybe a bank account in-state or bills and driver's license might be enough to be granted in-state tuition.
