Anyone know much about this field, Pros and Cons? Do any other schools besides USC offer it? Thanks.

My roomie did the SC's Pharmaco-econ.. they picked 2 or 3 per year...back then. Not sure about now.

Both from my class completed a residency..then got into the Econ program. 1 works for Pfizer and the other for a large PBM.

Did they enjoy it and are they enjoying what they do now?
Did they do like a dual degree, PharmD/Pharmcoeconomics?
What's PBM?

Sorry for the impersonal reply, just want to make it short and to the point. Thanks for replying back though!

Oops, I just re-read your post and didnt realize that you wrote they completed their pharmd's and THEN went into the program. Just ignore the 2nd question.

Actually I have some more, hahaha, if you dont mind.

Do you know how long it is, the pharmcoeconomics program?

Is USC the only school that has this program?

Reason I'm so interested is b/c I have a degree in economics and I would love to know more about it. thanks again.
