Hello,

I'm a Canadian pharmacy graduate (BScPharm a few years ago), and I will be relocating to Houston, Texas with my partner who is moving there for work with ExxonMobil. It will be a short term assignment, could be only 2 years. The foreign equivalency process is long and very tedious to register as a pharmacist in Texas; so I've been considering attaining further education as opposed to working while we are there.

I was interested in the University of Florida PharmD bridging program (Working Professional Pharm.D. (WPPD) » College of Pharmacy » University of Florida) but I see it will be discontinued and they are no longer accepting new applicants.

Are there any other good remote PharmD bridging programs available in the US? I'm open to occasional travel to another state to complete it.

Thank you!

There are several foreign PharmD programs. I know there are programs at Western and Nova. These programs are not remote though.

I called Colorado and was told that the program is for pharmacists who will stay in their country of origin, not work in the USA.....

Be careful!
