pharmD/PA

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Not much, but IMHO a damn fine choice.
There's a guy on faculty at MUSC PA Program who was a PharmD prior to PA school. His expertise is with therapeutic choice, etc. As I understand it his hospital group actually convinced him to go to PA school. Now he teaches. Very nice guy. PM me if you want info.
I do know there's a relatively new PA/PharmD track at Medex in Washington. If I were going for a terminal degree other than medicine, I would probably do PharmD if it were flexible enough to do while working at least part-time (haven't really looked into it though).
Good luck,

I know a PharmD/PA that works at a health clinic. He sees patients in the morning and after lunch he's in the pharmacy. He decided that after pharmacy school he wanted to do a little more with his education so he went on to PA school. He's also a great preceptor.
