PharmD Personality Types

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I took this my freshman year of undergrand, and again my senior year, while a lot changed, I was like 99& extroverted in both cases.

it seems odd to me that introverted personality types would be better suited to pharmacy. The part I like most is the interaction with (most) people

this is interesting

Edit: Ok I took the test (even though I need to be studying):

ESFP 78 12 25 22. That pretty much sums me up.

i'm an ESFP as well! (89 1 12 22 to be exact)...they call us "Artisan Performers" and it says this about us: "Representing about ten percent of the general population, Performers radiate warmth and optimism, and are able to lift others' spirits with their contagious laughter and their irrepressible joy of living. "

that would be good if i work in a pharmacy...right???...lol

I'm INFJ and I quite agree with that...

I dont think all the I's mean a whole lot since the sample is all internet people that read a forum all day. You would not expect many extroverts doing this correct?

Why Not? We are here to improve our chances of getting into Pharmacy school right? By reading this forum we are learning from others that are going through the process or already been through it. So If an extrovert wanted to do the same, why wouldn't they read a fourm?

Just because I prefer to post on forums, watch viral videos, and see which new torrents I can find, rather than working (what I should be doing now) or watching lame ass prime time TV, I am assumed to be introverted?

I guess I'm like the bazillionth ISTJ here. I've always been, every time I've ever taken the test I've never gotten anything different.

This is a really interesting discussion. There is so much study on this topic in the workplace. I just did the test on humanmetrics.com. I am ENFJ. I used to be much more introverted, but my personality has changed over the years. But, each company or field of work needs a mixture of all the different personality types for a good balance. I am better versed on the Meyers-Briggs test - and who wants a bunch of "directors" leading the organization?

Has anyone noticed that the people you have the most personality conflicts tend to be either exactly like yourself or your polar opposite? 🙂

Your Type is
ISFJIntrovertedSensingFeelingJudging that is interesting... perhaps there isn't a type for pharmacists...seeing as there are a lot of different personality types listed thus far. But maybe if someone is in the mood, they can go through the thread and categorize what percent is in which type of personality. but there would be skewed-ness in there. meh.*lazy*

INTP. Just like Rick Moranis.
