I'm currently in a PhD program in pharmacology but lately I have been thinking about clinical pharmacology or just clinical aspects in general. I was thinking maybe I could do a dual degree or possibly do pharmacy school after I finish my PhD work. Any advice from people who may have did the same route... I'm not worried about the cost or time... Just trying to think would this be a good idea. I love research but I would also like to apply clinical skills as well. What job outlooks are there for a PharmD/PhD besides teaching? I absolutely do not want to teach.

Industry would like that dual degree, but not enough to prefer it over other dual degrees. In other words, its an expensive way to get into industry, when most likely your PhD degree alone would be enough to get you an industry job.
