Hey guys,

So I plan on applying to 0+6 pharmacy schools (6 year direct entry pharmD programs). I also want to get my master of health administration so does anyone know if its possible to pursue that while being enrolled in such a program?

So in essence, is it possible to get that master of health administration within that 6 year period? And what prerequisites would be needed?

Thanks!

I do not have first hand knowledge of this (specifically the 0+6 pharmacy school model), but almost certainly if you add an extra degree, you will also have to add extra time. Probably your best source of information about this would be the websites of the schools you are considering. Many will outline the dual degrees offered and the route required to obtain them. If you cannot find anything, perhaps contact the schools directly.

Yeah, that makes sense. Thanks.

Does anyone else have experience with doing this? I haven't really seen anyone attempt this combo.

My school offers a few different dual degree options and most of them don't add any extra time, so it is possible although I don't know how common that is at other schools. It is a traditional four year program though, and I don't think the MHA is one of the options (although an MPH w/administration concentration or MBA are viable alternatives). I agree that contacting schools you're interested in directly is the best bet though.
