Phase II explanation

Can someone explain how applications can be due on 4/4 and our rank list is due on 4/5 for Phase II? Will places just rank you without interviewing?

Any insight would be appreciated.

I believe 4/4 is the deadline to either withdraw or participate in the match.

Programs have their own internal due dates. You may have to ask them. I heard people had interviews on the day ranks were due last year.

I definitely wouldn't pay attention to the deadlines and would get your application in ASAP. I think if you were to apply now, you're too late.
