I’m a PhD student planning on applying to medical school. My research focuses on developing risk models for deployment in primary care facilities in order to identify high risk patients and provide preventative care accordingly. As a result, I’ll be actively working in the clinic often. My question is, does this count as clinical exposure or do I need to find an additional avenue?

I’ve already accrued a couple hundred clinical volunteer hours from college and several hundred more of clinical research from my time in college.

Thanks!
