What is a good source for learning about the different characteristics of these tumors? A review book overview would be nice...since they're cheaper than textbooks. However, I'm not looking for a HY way of memorizing dz characteristics, rather pathophysiology....and I don't feel like reading 10 different journals articles for an overall idea.

I will be shadowing a vascular surgeon on an operation next monday (pheochromocytoma of carotid artery), and I wanted to do a little pre-op research.

Thanks.

Look in First Aid to get the bkground and look in a pharm textbk to see how to treat. Thats all you will need to know.

dude if you want to talk to a surgeon about it and discuss it or be asked about it, i hardly think FA is enough. Just read one article at emedicine.com, tha tusually is a good source wtih treatment and explains the disease
