How and where do you get certified in this?

most are just OJT.

Call local hospitals. Many will hire you with no experience and train you on the job.

I became certified through a junior college...took an internet course during the summer. It was a piece of cake. Had to go to the school once during the class. Watched 8 videos and practiced drawing blood out of a practice arm. Then had to fulfill a number of sticks in a clinical setting.
