Hi everyone,

I'm ready to e-submit my application. The only thing that is bugging me is my visa status. I am currently holding a F-1 visa but will be applying for a F-1 OPT visa in January. The application is asking whether I am currently holding a visa that will allow me to work through residency. I did not apply earlier because OPT website says I should not apply >120 days before actual employment starts. How should I proceed with that question? Any international students here applying for residencies (or have applied in the past)? Thank you!!!

Hello jkminz, did you get a residency? I am an international student and am in the process of applying as well.

How did you guys pay for pharm school as international student? We don't get loans 🙁

Parents paid 100%. Also for international students, good luck... Most residency and employers do not want you.

Hi!! Yes, I got 8 interviews and matched to my first choice! Don't listen to the person saying that as international students we can't get a residency... Believe in yourself and go for it 🙂

Hi jkminz,

Any recommendation on how I should answer that Visa question? I am in the same situation as you.

Thanks in advance!
