Can anyone tell me if renagel and fosrenol can be taken together at one meal or should they be taken separately? I've noticed that some MDs write fosrenol with meals and renagel with snacks.
When I looked at the labs of pts who were taking them at the same meal, their phosphorus levels were very high. Would taking the two at the same time cause them to bind to each other instead of effectively binding the phosphorus in food?
