My college offers phy1053 while all of the medical schools say they need phy2053/2054 or phy2048/2049. Will phy1053 work? I emailed a few medical schools to see but I wanted to see if anybody here knows.

My college offers physics 9A, B, and C, as well as physics 7A, B, and C. When I was at a community college, I also had physics 2A, B, and C. As an undergrad I also took a 100-series physics class. So what does this all mean? Every school has its down number system! 😱 Thus we have no idea what your school's numbering system is, or what these classes are about...other than the fact they involve some manner of a subject that starts with phy, which could be physiology too. 😉 a

Need more info.....

You need 2053/54 in most cases. 2048/49 is with calc and you don't need that for med school, even though they're almost the same. It's like trying to replace CHM2048 with CHM1048, not gonna happen.

Edit: You mean to say your school only offers 1053?
