If you are a Physician Assistant, meaning you hold a masters degree, would it be safe to assume that you meet the prereqs for med school? My hubby is in the middle of PA school through the Army, and is interested in going MD in about 2-3 years. Once he holds his PA degree, would he have met the requirements for med school admission?
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you
Crystal

Will he have calculus, a year of general biology, a year of general chem, a year of organic chem, a semester of biochem (for some of the schools), and I'm not sure about, a year of english?

Those classes and the MCATs are the requirements to apply to medical school.

I may have left some class out but thats the basic idea.

Don't forget about the year of physics. All schools require at least a year of physics, but only a handful require calculus, english, and biochem.
