Physician LOR

Hey everyone! I have almost complete since a month now. The only thing missing is the physician LOR. THe physician I shadowed promised to write me one a month ago but keeps forgetting. I have called a couple of times but dont see it happenning...........how do I approach the physican and let her know that this is very very important withouth sounding rude. And also are schools even considering applications now since I'm sooo late in the cycle esp. MSUCOM (my first choice).

This is extraordinarily late.

Even for the MD rejects who are now applying, those who thought ahead applied months ago.

Keep trying to get the LOR.

Did you give them a stamped and pre-addressed envelope?

If not, I would hand deliver one to the physician and ask them again to please get it there.

I had my letter get lost in the mail for two schools...it's incredibly frustrating having to deal with things you don't have control over.
