I'm sure this has been asked before so I apologize in advance. I don't have any Family friend Doctors to shadow so I have just been calling Physicians from my local Hospital databases. I have two who agreed but only for about two or three times, for a total of about fourteen hours each. Will that be enough? Most of the say its difficult to shadow these days because of legal reasons, immunizations etc..

Thanks,

I was told to contact local residency programs. Some clinics have policies against it, some are open to it. You may have to prove you've been immunized to MMR, etc, and have proof of a negative TB test... Either way, try finding residency programs and contact the person and say you're a pre-med looking to shadow... Best of luck! If you live in MN I can hook you up, if you live in CO I have a thread with info in the family medicine area...
