I know many people have asked whether or not they need to take physics 2 before the new mcat, but the way my schedule played out there is no way I am able to take it this semester and I'm taking my MCAT at the end of this summer (August). I have a few options on how to study physics 2 and I'm curious as to what others think would be sufficient for the test. I'm doing a TPR course over the summer.

So my few options;
1) Cram physics 2 in the two weeks between after finals and when my mcat prep course begins. Then just review it as normal with the course schedule.
2) Sit in on some physics 2 classes this semester (Already taking 15 hrs of all upper division science) and review as normal with TPR in the summer.
3) Take physics 2 this summer at university simultaneously with TPR course. I feel like this wouldn't be worth the time taken away from mcat studying though.

Also I'd like to know if anyone has any recommendations as to the best materials for physics 2 self prep, thanks!

I took physics II and while studying for the MCAT using TPR and found that the chapters in TPR for physics II supplemented my in-class content perfectly. In other words, I probably could have just used TPR to learn physics II without actually taking it at my school.

I should add that I also supplemented these with Ramamurti Shankar's Yale Physics II lectures on YouTube (he's an amazing lecturer and I credit these videos with helping me understand the content the most).
