Hi,

I was wondering if I am taking an algebra based physics course would it be highly beneficial to have completed a precalc course first? Also how feasible is it to take physics, bio, and calc at the same time? And if I am planning on taking statistic does it matter if I take it before or after precalc? My understanding is that one doesn't build on the other. Thanks!

I had a calculus class 15 years before I took physics. There were some things I didn't know ( or remember) but the math you need to know is self explanitory.

As far as Statistic and Calc. no the two of them are nowhere close to each other. I remember saying that statisitics shouldn't be called a math because in math 2+2=4 today, tomorrow and yesterday but in statisics you can circumvent whichever formula to obtain the answer you want.

Yes I think physics, bio, and cal are feasible in the same semester. Just make sure you alot the amount of study time needed. If you don't have a strong science/math background they might need more work.
